Whatever Happened To...

Janet Jackson the Queen of Pop. She is the most awarded artist in the history of the Billboard Music Awards with 33 wins, and is a part of an elite group of artist that Billboard gives praise to for redefining the scope of popular music. She has sold over 100 million records and is considered one of the best selling artists in the history of contemporary music. Janet has been popular in the music game since 1973 and has influenced a list of artist that credits her as some inspiration to their music and style such as Lady Gaga, Beyounce Knowles, Brandy, and Maya. The list goes on and on, but this blog can't because that would mean you aren't checking out Janet do her thing in the video below showing why she really is the Queen of Pop. Take a look at the video for the song "Rhythm Nation" off the album Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 which by the way peaked # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in three different calendar years and is the only album in history to have seven top 5 hit singles also winning 1989 Grammy award for Best Long Form Music Video with the "Rhythm Nation" music video below. Just see Janet do her thing and enjoy the video. It's one of her classics. Are you a Janet fan?
